About the Artist

Mindy Pavone was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. She then moved to Canastota, a small town in Central New York where she finished her last year in high school. Since her childhood, art has always been Mindy’s major focus in life. Throughout high school, she always chose electives that were geared towards art.

After high school, she continued her love for art by receiving an Associate’s degree in Graphic Illustration from Mohawk Valley Community College. She then pursued a Bachelor’s Degree at SUNY Oswego in Fine Arts. Just recently, she finished her Master's Degree in Art Education at SUNY Oswego and is now in search of a teaching position. She also hopes to illustrate her own children’s book someday.
